On Saturday, Feb. 22, the Drake Choir will host a benefit concert to support the group’s trip to New York in May. The concert will be held on Drake’s campus at 7:30 p.m. in Sheslow Auditorium.

Drake University’s Keys to Excellence Piano Concert Series will continue on Tuesday, Feb. 18 with pianist Robert Satterlee of Bowling Green State University.
David Courard-Hauri, associate professor of environmental science and program chair, received funding for his project titled, “STEM Curriculum Development: Sophomore-Level Case Study Analysis.”
Jonathan Bellman, professor of music history and literature, and head of academic studies in music at the University of Northern Colorado, will deliver a lecture and piano performance titled, “After Silence, That Which Comes Nearest” as part of the Comparison Project’s spring 2014 programming.

On Jan. 31, Stephanie Heriger, education programs manager at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, will deliver a lecture titled “Roll Over Beethoven: Public Musicology at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.”
The Drake Chamber Choir, the most select of the University's four choruses, is currently touring England.
Starting Jan. 28, the Drake University/Community Chorus will begin rehearsals for an April 13 concert. The chorus is open to Drake students, faculty, staff, and the public, and does not require an audition.
On December 4, the Drake Symphony Orchestra will perform its second concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. in Sheslow Auditorium.
Nicholas Roth, associate professor of piano, and Drake piano students will present the inaugural concert in the Keys to Excellence Piano Concert Series 2013-2014 on Dec. 2.
