Students create digital startup men’s magazine

The Drake University senior magazines majors have reinvented their capstone project by creating a startup men’s magazine for the iPad. Man Up magazine is now available on the iPad and as a condensed app on iPhones and Android phones.

Magazine majors take Manhattan

Drake University magazine majors travel to New York City this week on a super-charged networking trip. Professor Jeff Inman (@magstudies) has arranged visits to 11 different magazine offices. Also on the itinerary: an alumni mixer, a visit to the WTC Memorial, and, of course, Times Square.
