Drake University President David Maxwell, Madeleine Maxwell and Board of Trustees invite Phoenix-area alumni to an evening of celebration on Friday, Jan. 18.

Drake University's Bulldogs and School of Education teamed up with Des Moines' Phillips Traditional School on Nov. 9 to celebrate the success of their new "Grow Bulldogs" program.

Actors from the Drake University community will perform a heartwarming holiday classic with a new twist when they bring to the stage "It's a Wonderful Life -- A Live Radio Play," which opens Thursday, Dec. 13.

Drake University graduate Colin McDonald was among the top 20 winners for college feature writing in the national William Randolph Hearst Foundation's Journalism Awards Program.

The World Food Prize Foundation has presented Drake University student Stephen Lauer with the annual John Chrystal Award for his outstanding biology research and work as a 2006 World Food Prize Borlaug-Ruan intern.

Anna K. Ryon, a third-year law student and Opperman Scholar from Des Moines, recently gave an hour-long presentation at a national conference on adjustable-rate and exotic mortgages and how they have contributed to the subprime lending crisis.
