Alumnus Brings Light to the Field Photo Class
1989 Drake Radio-TV graduate Glen Biermann, urged this semester’s Field Photography class to take pride in their interview lighting. Biermann, a regular visitor to the junior-level class required for Electronic Media students, serves KCCI (TV), Des Moines, as a staff photographer.
Renovated “Digital Palace” Greets First Class
Prof. Lytle’s JMC73 Radio News was the first Electronic Media class to meet in the renovated Meredith Hall Room 2. The space has entered its final stages of modernization begun early in the summer. The lab provides 18 flat-screen Macs packed with Final Cut Pro and other essential software.
