The singing voices of Drake Fine Arts alumni can be heard in the most prestigious venues across the world - and they take time to visit their alma mater on occasion.

The annual Physics Olympics, hosted by Drake University, did not feature any snowboarders falling on their rumps while showboating or petty infighting among speed skaters. There was, however, competition to put the Nagano games to shame - plus lasers.

Drake's Future Alumni Network (FAN) student organization has put together an 11-member team to participate in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life April 7-8, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., at the Drake Fieldhouse.
