Drake University President David Maxwell will celebrate his 70th birthday by jamming with a Grammy Award-winning blues musician. The free concert headlined by blues legend John Paul Hammond will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Sheslow Auditorium. The event is open to the public, and no tickets are required. The article, titled “Small Co-ops in a Whole Foods World,” examines the difficulties natural food co-op stores encounter in an increasingly competitive market.
