Democratic presidential candidate Chris Dodd will be the featured guest at a Monday, Nov. 19, "Cookies and Conversation" forum hosted by Drake University and IowaPolitics.com.

Maddie Levitt, who often said April 1 was her favorite holiday, was renowned for her April Fool's Day pranks. She was even better known as the consummate civic volunteer and philanthropist.

Environment and energy expert Peter Soverel will deliver a free, public lecture on "Energy and Climate Change," at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, in room 101 in Olin Hall, 27th Street and Forest Ave.

Drake University student magazines 515 and THiNK won the Associated Collegiate Press' 2007 Pacemaker award for magazine excellence on Oct. 27, at the 2007 National College Media Convention in Washington, D.C.
