Update on Xythos/BlueSpace Shared Storage

ITS staff is continuing to work on resolving the Xythos/BlueSpace performance issues. Progress is happening, but we need everyone to continue to not stay out of Xythos/BlueSpace files. We are hopeful that we will be able to restore access late this afternoon or early tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience.

Xythos/BlueSpace will be shut down at 10:30 a.m.

In order to resolve the major performance issues we’ve been having with the Xythos/BlueSpace storage, ITS staff will be shutting down all access to Xythos/BlueSpace at 10:30 a.m. this morning. Support Center phones outage resolved

At 8:30 a.m, ITS learned of an outage affecting our support center phones. At 8:40 a.m., ITS staff resolved the issue. If you are encountering tech issues, you can once again call the support center at 515-271-3001 or submit a report via our service portal at service.drake.edu/its.

Xythos/BlueSpace Performance Issues

ITS has learned of Xythos/BlueSpace performance issues this morning. ITS staff have restarted the system and hope this will resolve the slowness as it did yesterday. ITS is continuing to investigate the root cause of the issues and apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.
