The PR program earned Certification in Education for Public Relations—an honor fewer than 60 programs worldwide have achieved. The site team shared much praise for our program and our campus, but most of all they were impressed with Drake PR students and alums, noting we consistently produce “graduates who are workforce ready, ethically grounded, and strategically minded.”
They went on to say, “The Public Relations program has developed a reputation for combining academic rigor with professional preparation while remaining responsive to changes in the communication profession.”
Students and faculty will participate in a virtual recognition ceremony at Noon on Monday, November 2. We’ll share more details later. For now, we celebrate!
