New plaza earns accolades
Drake's Lane Plaza has received an Honor Award from the Iowa chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. The Herbert Lewis Kruse Blunck firm designed the project, which created a cobblestone courtyard that forms the entrance to Meredith Hall.
Education faculty member to receive award
Robert Stensrud, an associate professor of education at Drake, will receive the Governor's Award from the Iowa Commission of Persons with Disabilities in a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 6.
