The Drake University Board of Trustees recently named Ronald Torry, Drake professor of pharmacology, and Maria Bohorquez, Drake associate professor of chemistry, Windsor Professors in Science.

Drake alumna Phyllis Staplin recently was honored as Iowa Educator of the Year by the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute. Staplin, an adjunct faculty member at Drake, teaches courses in the School of Education.
