Iowa speedway specialist carries lecture series across the finish line
Craig Armstrong, vice president and general manager of Iowa Speedway, will conclude Drake’s spring 2007 "Let’s DU Lunch" lecture series with a talk beginning at noon Wednesday, April 4, at the Polk County Convention Complex, 501 Grand Ave.

Director of Athletics Sandy Hatfield Clubb announced recently the naming of Keno Davis as the school’s 24th head men’s basketball coach. Keno succeeds his father, Tom Davis, who has retired as head coach but will remain at Drake as a special assistant to the athletic director.
Costas to give Bucksbaum Lecture at Drake April 19
Bob Costas, an accomplished broadcaster and author of “Fair Ball: A Fan's Case for Baseball," will deliver this spring’s Martin Bucksbaum Distinguished Lecture at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19.
Entries for Drake Relays 8K, half-marathon races available
Entries are being accepted for the 39th annual Drake Relays On-the-Road 8-kilometer and half-marathon races, which start at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 28.
