Leaders of Grand View College, Drake University and Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) today signed a new admissions partnership agreement that’s designed to help more students earn a four-year degree and encourage them to live and work in Central Iowa.

This summer Drake University will host two 10-day residential academic summer programs operated by SuperCamp,a leader in learning and life skills summer camps.

Six Drake students recently represented Italy and Hungary in the State University of New York (SUNY) Model European Union Simulation at Izmir University in Izmir, Turkey. The students were Alison Bowlin, Meghan Fleming, Christopher Huszar, Anna Kunst, Adam Stone and Randall Weigand.

Drake alumnus Bruce Foster will bring his expertise in financial services back to campus to kick off the spring 2008 Executive in Residence series in Drake's School of Management and Communication on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
