Drake University's Buy Fresh Buy Local booth will be in full operation at this Saturday's Downtown Farmers' Market in Des Moines. Market patrons may pick up their free directory of farms and businesses selling local foods, sign a pledge to support local farmers and food businesses, and purchase T-shirts and hats sporting the BFBL logo.

Pharmacy College seeks sponsors for white coat ceremony
Drake's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences recently introduced what it is hoped will become a tradition with pharmacy alumni and students entering their first year of the professional program after completing two years of pre-pharmacy studies. Selected alumni and graduating pharmacy students have been invited to sponsor a white coat for an incoming P1 student.
