ITS staff will upgrade network switches in Cline Hall, the Cline Atrium, and Fitch Hall on Wed., August 12, as part of Drake’s ongoing Network Refresh Project. The work will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until completion later that evening. Internet access in these locations will be impacted during the upgrade.
Individuals in Cline (including the Atrium) and Fitch should expect intermittent or unavailable network connectivity throughout the maintenance window. Network-connected devices and services in these buildings will also be affected.
This work supports the ongoing Network Refresh Project, a multi-year effort to modernize Drake’s network infrastructure, improve reliability, and support future connectivity needs.
If you experience issues after the maintenance is complete, contact the ITS Support Center for help by visiting the University Service Portal, calling 515-271-3001, or visiting the lower level of Carnegie Hall with your device.
