Bulldog’s record indoor national tennis meet run ends in quarterfinals
Before slightly spraining an ankle, the sixth-seeded Pavic, a senior from Adelaide, Australia, led Somdev Devvarman of Virginia 2-0 in their second set of men’s singles. Devvarman, the tournament’s No. 1 seed, won six of the next seven points to defeat Pavic 6-4 in straight sets.

The Drake Alumni Office is seeking alumni worldwide to help organize annual Bulldog Bashes in their cities. These parties, typically held at pubs and restaurants in May and June, are fun, informal ways for Bulldogs to gather and get to know fellow alumni in their area.

Future teachers in Professor Shelley Fairbairn’s Educational Psychology course were treated to first-hand perspectives of the struggles homeless children face daily in the classroom. A group of Des Moines area homeless youth visited the graduate class as part of a panel discussion of social justice in education.
Alumni invited to submit comments as Drake seeks reaccreditation
Drake is currently seeking comments from the public about the University in preparation for its evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.
