San Francisco area alumni and friends have two great opportunities to celebrate their Drake affiliation in November. Next, local alumni, friends and fans can cheer the Bulldogs when the mighty Drake men’s basketball team, under the leadership of new head Coach Keno Davis, opens its 102nd season of intercollegiate basketball in the Saint Mary’s College Tip-Off Classic in Moraga, California, Nov. 9 and 10, 2007.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, get fired up with fellow Drake alumni and friends at a pre-game picnic from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Saint Mary’s Soda Activity Center, Lafayette Room. Cost is $20 per adult, $10 per child 10 and under, which includes the meal, a Drake gift and a raffle ticket for a prize drawing.
Bulldogs take on host Saint Mary’s College at 7:30 p.m. in McKeon Pavilion. Game tickets are $15 per person and must be picked up at the pre-game picnic.

Earlier, Drake faces UC-San Diego in the tournament’s opening round on Friday, Nov. 9, at 1:30 p.m. in Saint Mary’s McKeon Pavilion. Purchase your game tickets, $15 per person, at the pavilion.
Parking is available in the lots between McKeon Pavilion and Soda Activity Center on De La Salle Drive and elsewhere on the Saint Mary’s campus. Directions and maps are available on the college’s Web site.
