Printing Planned Outage from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3

ITS is upgrading the campus print services software. As a result, access to campus printing (PaperCut) will be completely unavailable between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3.  We appreciate your patience while we perform this necessary work. FollowMe Print (PaperCut) Outage Resolved

Thank you for your patience. ITS has now resolved the FollowMe Print (PaperCut) outage. ITS staff and our print vendor found that PaperCut was unable to connect to the BlackBoard Transactions database. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the support center at 515-271-3001 or visit service.drake.edu/its to report your issue. Occupational therapy students do lab work at home, make stovetop orthoses

Having classes and labs taught remotely for part of the Spring 2020 semester didn’t deter the learning by Drake occupational therapy students, especially in their orthotics and positioning course. They turned their kitchens into laboratories by softening thermoplastic material in skillets or cake pans on the stovetop to make their own functional orthoses at home. Fabricating orthoses is a standard project taken on by every first-year occupational therapy student. Normally, students use specially designed heating pans, heat guns, scissors, and other materials.
