Microsoft Services Restored

According to Microsoft the issues that were preventing users from accessing systems including Teams have been resolved. They announced, “We’ve successfully resolved the issue that was causing residual impact for SharePoint Online and we’ve confirmed that all Microsoft 365 services have returned to a healthy state.” If you continue to experience issues, please contact the support center at 515-271-3001 or visit service.drake.edu/its.

Microsoft has determined the cause of the issues accessing their services and is working towards resolution. Access to Microsoft services including Teams and Outlook is recovering for many users. We will let you know when Microsoft announces that this issue has been fully resolved. Thank you for your continued patience.

ITS has just learned that Microsoft is investigating an issue which is causing some users to be unable to access Microsoft 365 services and features. Some campus users have reported that they are having sporadic access issues to Microsoft Teams or other Microsoft systems. As more information becomes available from Microsoft we will provide additional updates.

Boyd Granberg Student Excellence Scholarship Award. Automated ITS survey requests sent in error

ITS was just made aware that due to vendor maintenance in our IT Service Portal that some students, faculty, and staff received survey requests for old requests made to ITS staff. These surveys were sent out automatically by our ticketing system and can be safely ignored. We have fixed the setting that was responsible for this error and anticipate that only surveys for newly completed requests will be sent out in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Drake University Theatre will present its upcoming musical Into the Woods April 1–3 at 7:30 p.m. and April 4 at 2 p.m. Performances will be streamed live, in real-time, to an in-person audience in the William S.E. Coleman Studio Theatre. Performances are limited to only Drake fine arts students. Fine arts students can reserve a ticket at drake.edu/fineartsboxoffice. A collaboration among Drake University, Valparaiso University, the University of Evansville (UE) and North Central College has received a total of $10 million in grant funding from Lilly Endowment Inc. through the competitive Phase 3 of its initiative, Charting the Future of Indiana’s Colleges and Universities.
