Remund wins national award for excellence in teaching writing
The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication has recognized Dave Remund, Ph.D., APR, for excellence in teaching writing across media. Remund, assistant professor of public relations, was one of five professors from across the nation honored at the association’s annual conference in Chicago in early August.

Senior magazine majors Skylar Bergl and Joe Stych were the featured speakers at a Design+Tech event Wednesday night at the Bitmethod offices in downtown Des Moines.
