Drake Grad Donates Media Buying Software

The full-service ad agency Media Link is owned by Natalie Linville-Mass (Bcast Sales & Mgmt 1992). In 2011 her Rock Island, Il., firm developed proprietary software for media buying and has donated a license for Drake SJMC students to use. The Media Link Software™ provides a new generation in planning software because it allows maximum flexibility in the planning process across all media, including outdoor and online. The software streamlines the planner’s work in several ways, including simplifying repetitions and summarizing data in easy to read reports for clients. Students have begun learning to use the software during this year’s senior capstone.
