The DUStudent wireless network is being retired on Friday, September 13 and being replaced with the new eduroam (education roaming) wireless network. Please be sure to switch to using eduroam before September 13.

A few tips on connecting to eduroam:

  • You must log into eduroam using your Drake email address, instead of your Drake ID number.
  • If you’ve previously connected your laptop or cellphone to connect to DUStudent, you’ll want to prompt it to forget DUStudent before connecting to eduroam.
  • Need instructions? See Connecting to the eduroam Wireless Network (How-to). Having issues? Visit the support center in the lower level of Carnegie Hall.

One of the main benefits of eduroam is that it’s a global education roaming wireless network. By connecting here at Drake using your email address, you can securely and seamlessly access the eduroam network at participating institutions across Iowa (at Iowa State, University of Iowa, and University of Northern Iowa) and the world—currently over 100 countries.
