Planned Maintenance: Wireless Network

ITS staff will be performing necessary maintenance on our wireless network tonight, Friday, April 5 beginning at 10 p.m. and lasting 2-3 hours. During this time, the wireless network may be unavailable for brief periods of time as updates are made. Update: Wireless Network Issues

ITS staff and our vendor, Cisco, have identified a recent system change that caused the wireless network issue. We’ve implemented a workaround, and at this point all users should be able to connect normally to our wireless networks, including eduroam and DUGuest. We continue to work on fully restoring service; we’ll keep you posted on progress and share when the issue has been resolved. ITS staff are aware of and investigating reports of wireless connectivity issues, which may cause the inability to connect to the eduroam and DUguest networks. Individuals who are currently connected should not disconnect, or they may not be able to get back online. Wired connections are not impacted at this time.
