"A Little Night Music" premiered at the Shubert Theatre in New York in 1973, winning the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award and the Tony Award for Best Musical. It was revived on Broadway again in 2009 and was subsequently nominated for best revival of a musical and outstanding revival of a musical.

Discussion at Drake to examine multiculturalism in Iowa
On Wednesday, Nov. 9, Drake will host a discussion on the future of global citizenship and multiculturalism in Iowa and the ways in which the University can foster racial acceptance. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in Bulldog Theatre in Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave.
Drake to host lecture on instability in Afghanistan and Pakistan
Wadham, who served as a U.S. election observer in Afghanistan's parliamentary elections in September 2010 and in Pakistan's parliamentary elections in February 2008, will focus on these areas of her expertise in the lecture, titled, "Instability in Afghanistan and Pakistan: What are the U.S. Options?"

Documentarian to discuss film at Drake
The Meredith Magazine Center will sponsor a screening of "Train to Nowhere,"a documentary that chronicles the discovery in 2002 of 11 dead immigrants in a train car in Denison, Iowa, and a lecture by filmmaker Coleen Bradford Krantz.
Renowned New York jazz artists to push boundaries at Turner Jazz Center
On October 29th, the Turner Jazz Center will present a ground-breaking concert in its yearly series. The upcoming performance by The Zodiac Trio, the rhythmic core of the New York based jazz/new music group The Zodiac Ensemble, will push listeners' definitions of jazz as an art form.
