Norwalk man overcomes odds to earn master's
Drake graduate student Tony Shafer, 30, will receive a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling on Saturday. Shafer suffered a stroke and underwent two brain surgeries in the fall of 2003, during his fifth year in Drake's pharmacy program.
