Molly Roseman, Professor of Piano at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, will present a program dedicated entirely to the music of the great French impressionist, Claude Debussy (1862-1918), in the next installment of Drake University’s Keys to Excellence Piano Series on Monday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Sheslow Auditorium. Admission is FREE. Dr. Roseman will also present a public masterclass on Sunday, February 15, at 4:00 p.m. in Sheslow Auditorium.
The concert program entitled A Journey into the Colorful World of Claude Debussy includes a performance of the complete Préludes (Book 2) accompanied by a slideshow presentation and spoken commentary by Dr. Roseman. Titles of the works to be performed are as follows:

- La puerta del Vino (Gate of Wine)
- Les fées sont d’exquises danseuses (The Fairies are Exquisite Dancers)

- La terrasse des audiences du clair de lune (The Terrasse for Listening by Moonlight)

- Canope (Canopic Vase)
- Les tierces alternées (Alternating Thirds)
- Feux d’artifice (Fireworks)
