SJMC students bring home Pinnacle Awards

Drake SJMC students and publications were honored at the Pinnacle Awards at the Fall National College Media Convention in Atlanta. Students Lily Eckenrode, Nate Eisenmann and Kylie Petty attended the event with professor Jen Wilson.

AAF hosting student agency tour

American Advertising Federation is hosting a Student Agency Crawl Friday, Nov. 10, from 8:30am-2:30pm. Students will be able to visit up to four different Central Iowa agencies where they will learn more about working at an agency and rub elbows with agency folks. Registration is $30 which includes lunch at Allora Café in the Krause Gateway Center downtown.

Join the SJMC Season of Thanks

Thank your SJMC faculty and staff for all they do to support you. Cards are provided outside of the SJMC Dean’s Office (MER 118). We will also table outside of MER 106 on Wednesday, November 8 and Monday, November 13 between Noon and 1 p.m. Cards will be distributed to faculty and staff on Tuesday, November 14.
