The RaySociety, which promotes lifelong learning at Drake University, will hold its year-end celebration and annual meeting at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, in Sheslow Auditorium in Old Main, 2507 University Ave. A reception will follow in Levitt Hall.

The RaySociety, named in honor of former Iowa Gov. Robert D. Ray and his wife, Billie, sponsors classes and social activities for people of retirement age. Robert Ray, former president of Drake University, and Billie Ray, a former school teacher, are both Drake graduates noted for their commitment to education and lifelong learning.
A year-long membership in the RaySociety costs $50 and each class is $25.
