Drake's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences recently introduced what it is hoped will become a tradition with pharmacy alumni and students entering their first year of the professional program after completing two years of pre-pharmacy studies.

Drake Law School alumni and friends are invited to gather for an exciting evening with Latin jazz genius Nachito Herrera on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Dakota Jazz Club, 1010 Nicollet, Minneapolis.

This month, Drake musicians will be busy performing in various campus ensembles around Des Moines.

Mark Ernst, BN'80, chairman, president and CEO of H&R Block Inc., will be the keynote speaker at the College of Business and Public Administration’s annual Business Day Banquet.

This year's Lawrence C. and Delores M. Weaver Medal of Honor -- the highest award presented by Drake's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences -- will be awarded posthumously to Wendell Talbot Hill Jr., PH'50 (1924-95).

The classes of 1957, 1947 and 1937 will celebrate milestone reunions during Drake’s Commencement Weekend, May 10-12.
