Kappa Delta Pi, the Education honors society, welcomed 21 new members.

Drake University School of Education’s online Gifted and Talented Endorsement for K-12 Educators was honored with an award from the Iowa Distance Learning Association.

Kappa Delta Pi inducted new members and hosted a panel discussion with education leaders about the job seeking and interview processes.

Tisha Carter Smith, a third year education major, was the recipient of a scholarship from the organization PEO. The Nationwide Foundation recently awarded the Drake University Adult Literacy Center with a $5,000 grant.
