Drake School of Journalism and Mass Communication professor Chris Snider will host a one-day workshop on May 21 to help participants build a social media strategy. The workshop is called Build a Social Media Strategy with AI and will include how to use AI to help enhance your strategy.

About the workshop:

The world of social media is constantly evolving. We’re dealing with uncertaintly around the future of TikTok, a changing Instagram algorithm (should we be posting carousels or Reels?), and the emergence of networks like Bluesky and Threads. Just keeping up with it all feels like a full-time job.

This one-day, hands-on workshop will help you make sense of it all. You’ll build a strategy you can use for your brand moving forward. I’ll show you how to use AI to build and execute your strategy. And we will have some fun!

This workshop will take place at Drake University. We will meet in room 124C of Meredith Hall.
