Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing a widespread outage in the US which is affecting many cloud-based platforms across the internet. Several services used at Drake – including Blackboard, Panopto, PollEverywhere, Respondus Monitor, Self Service, and potentially others – are experiencing degraded performance or intermittent access issues as a result.
These service interruptions are external to Drake and stem from AWS infrastructure issues. Our ITS team is actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience and understanding while AWS works toward full recovery.
