Around midnight, ITS became aware of a system outage that impacted Banner and SSO to other applications. When ITS staff were unable to restore these systems, we brought up services from our offsite data center. The switch to the backup servers was successful and access to applications was restored by 1 a.m. ITS staff continue to work on restoring access to a few ancillary services, but access to key Banner systems including registration was restored early this morning. There may be some minor slowness in the system, otherwise services are functioning normally.
