ITS staff continue to work with our vendor partners to resolve the voicemail outage on Polycom Skype for Business phones. In the meantime, if you’re concerned about missing an important call, you can forward your desk phone to your cell phone.

If you click the Home button on your phone and then select the Forward option from the onscreen menu, you’ll see an option to Forward to a Contact.

Select that option and enter your cell phone number including area code, and your phone will ring through to your cell phone instead of your desk phone until you Disable Call Forwarding. This way you can receive voicemails until the system is working again.
