D.M. Register columnist to speak
Rekha Basu will discuss her work as a journalist, including her experiences writing about issues of social justice and human rights, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, as part of the Susan Glaspell Writers and Critics Series at Drake University. The lecture will be held in the Reading Room of Drake’s Cowles Library. The event is free and open to the public.
Congratulations to 2017-18 student senators
Congratulations to the new student senators from SJMC: Kollin Crompton and Olivia Wassen were elected senators-at-large for next year, and Jake Bullington was chosen SJMC senator.
Spangler chosen Times-Delphic editor
Jessica Spangler has been chosen Times-Delphic editor for 2017-18. As T-D editor, Jessica will also be the recipient of the Harrison Harding Memorial Scholarship.
