Featured panel members include Dr. David Mee-Lee and Senator Jack Hatch.
David Mee-Lee, M.D., is Senior Vice President for The Change Companies®. He is a nationally and internationally known mental health and Co-Occuring Recovery expert, a board-certified psychiatrist, and is certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM). He trains and consults both nationally and internationally. Dr. Mee-Lee is also Chief Editor of the Revised Second Edition of the ASAM Criteria. Dr. Mee-Lee has over 30 years experience in person-centered treatment and program development for people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions.
Jack Hatch is a State Senator and property developer with projects in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. He has been a leading progressive voice in Iowa throughout his career, spearheading reform efforts on expanding access to children’s healthcare and Medicaid, as well as working on improvements to our healthcare education and delivery systems. In addition to serving as a White House advisor on state-level health care reform, he has served in the Iowa Legislature for 22 years, first in the House, and now in the Senate.
