Dogtown Fest brings food, music and art to Drake neighborhood

The Drake neighborhood will be bustling with people enjoying live music, food and art during Dogtown Fest from 3-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25.

Festivities will take place between University Avenue and 25th and 22nd streets, which will be blocked off. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

Vendor booths with a variety of foods, beverages and artwork will be featured, along with activities for kids such as basketball shooting, face painting and cotton candy. The festival will also feature a bike show, hair show and hoola hooping.

In addition, live music will be performed in the evening by North of Grand, John O’Connell, Bob Tyler and the Reckless Hearts, Final Mix, Lesson 7, D Bess of Public Property, Ty Born Jig, DJ Tucker, DJ John Solars and DJ Alex Brown.
