50 Year Club at Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony, 10 a.m., Drake Knapp Center. Keynote speakers: Drake President David Maxwell and Jill Swenson, winner of the Oreon E. Scott Award for the outstanding senior. The 50 Year Club alumni also will have a lunch and take a bus tour of Des Moines.
SATURDAY, MAY 16 — Alumni Awards Dinner
The Alumni Awards Dinner, which is open to Drake alumni and friends, begins with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m. in Parents Hall in Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave. The cost is $25.

Mark your calendars NOW for the 15th Annual Windy City Golf Outing on Thursday, June 18, at the Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington, Ill.
A tentative schedule of events is listed below:
- Registration Opens — 10 a.m.
- Shotgun Start — 11:30 a.m.
- Social Hour — 4:30 p.m.
- Banquet and Raffle — 5:45 p.m.
- Program and Awards — 6:30 p.m.
- Auction — 7 p.m.
The cost for this year’s event is $140 by May 15 or $150 after May 15.
If you don’t golf, join your fellow alumni and friends for dinner at a cost of $40 per person or sponsor a hole for $150.

JUNE 24-26 – Volunteers needed for Des Moines Arts Festival
Spring is on the way and we are preparing to once again be part of the Des Moines Arts Festival by working the Pepsi tents.
This year’s festival will take place June 26-28 in the Western Gateway Park area of Downtown Des Moines. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis, and we typically fill shifts very quickly. Listed below are the shift times still available:
Saturday, June 27: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 1-5 p.m., 4:30-8 p.m., and 7:30-10:30 p.m.
Sunday, June 28: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and 1-5:30 p.m.
