Drake students to compete at NAB convention
Drake University is one of two schools in the country chosen to compete in the 2011 National Association of Broadcasters Show "War on the Floor" student competition. Radio-TV seniors Rachel Yancey, Eamonn Cogan, Rebecca Altenhofen and Lauren Staller will be participating.

Nominate a student speaker for SJMC reception
Every spring, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication hosts a dessert reception to honor recipients of School scholarships and other awards, and to celebrate our graduating seniors. This spring, the reception is scheduled for Sunday, April 3, beginning at 4 p.m. in Levitt Hall of Old Main.
SJMC earns high marks during accreditation visit
The Drake University School of Journalism and Mass Communication received high marks during the Association of Schools of Journalism and Mass Communication Accreditation Site Team visit Feb. 14-15. The Site Team recommended accreditation for the school.
