Professor Jerry Foxhoven, executive director of the Neal and Bea Smith Legal Clinic and professor of law at Drake Law School, has been appointed chair of a task force overseeing recommendations regarding the Iowa Juvenile Home.

Transactional and Nonprofits Clinic to open at Drake Law fall 2013
Des Moines attorney Chip Lowe has recently been hired to lead a Transactional and Nonprofits Clinic for Drake Law School. Students enrolled in this clinic will provide comprehensive legal services to entrepreneurs intending to start or already operating a for-profit or non-profit organization.
