Guy Cook, LW’82, took the reigns as president of the Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) in June 2013. In addition to his active role on Drake Law School’s Board of Counselors, Guy has high hopes for the ISBA that include more public outreach while making the bar a legal resource for the public and assisting the next generation of lawyers with education costs and job opportunities.
President Cook has deep roots in the greater Des Moines community and has not only maintained strong ties to the legal community as a partner at Grefe & Sydney, P.L.C., he has also maintained a strong connection with Drake Law School.
