The School of Education will recognize and honor Tom Drake’s service as assistant professor of education and director of student teaching at a retirement reception on April 26th at 3:30 in the Upper Gallery conference rooms of the Olmsted Center. Drake was not only a student-athlete, but also received the 2005 Double D Award. He is a member of the Prairie Meadows Grants Committee and the Foundation Board for K-8 education for the Des Moines School District.
