The TEPD program starts with two core courses: “Contemporary Issues in Education†and “Learning Communities and Professional Communication.â€
Both courses are taught in weekend format.

Contemporary Issues in Education September 17, 18 and online
Learning Communities and Professional Communication October 22, 23 November 12, 13 and December 3,4
Core course content has been revised to connect with current emphases in assessment, professional learning communities, and skills for teaching in the 21st century. The 32 graduate hour program consists of 17 hours of core courses with the remaining courses being in an area of specialization. Some areas of specialization are also endorsements.
The formats for Gifted and Talented Endorsement, Middle School Endorsement, and Elementary and Secondary Reading endorsement are in a format convenient for distance learning.
