Two Drake Law School programs attracted the attention of preLaw, a National Jurist publication. Its winter issue acknowledged schools offering an emphasis in several specialized areas. Drake Law was included in both the Intellectual Property and Advocacy & Dispute Resolution “Where to Study” lists.

Drake Law’s Intellectual Property Center and IP program is ranked 25th in the nation and is among the top five in the Midwest region.
Drake Law School also offers a Litigation and Dispute Resolution Certificate and has a commitment to experiential learning. Students develop trial advocacy and dispute resolution skills through hands on classroom instruction, the First-Year Trial Practicum, simulation, internships, and clinical client representation.
