Winston Choi, associate professor of piano and the head of the piano program at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, is the final featured guest artist of the 2024–2025 season of Drake University’s Keys to Excellence Piano Series on Monday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. in Sheslow Auditorium. Admission is free. Professor Choi will also present a public masterclass on Sunday, March 30, at 4 p.m. in Sheslow Auditorium. The concert program is comprised of the following works:

  • Franz Schubert: Impromptu, Op. 142, No. 1, D. 935                                 
  • Elliott Carter: Night Fantasies (1980)   
  • Leonard Cohen: Hallelujah, arr. by Winston Choi               
  • Jonathan Howard Katz: Étude Nos. 1-3
  • Maurice Ravel: Gaspard de la nuit
