SJMC Monday Memo

Have a restful time off of classes! We’ll see you after spring break

Fill out SJMC culture survey

SJMC students are encouraged to participate in a survey that will be administered this week in all SJMC classes. Our SJMC diversity plan requires a periodic assessment be conducted to better understand the views of SJMC students, to help guide curriculum decisions and to ensure we are creating a welcoming climate for all. The information we collect also provides valuable data for accreditation reporting. The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. Please answer the questions as accurately as possible. Your responses are anonymous. Thank you for your participation in this survey!

Seniors: Reserve your SJMC centennial T-shirt

Attention SJMC seniors!

To celebrate the centennial of journalism education at Drake AND your graduation, the SJMC has commissioned a special SJMC centennial T-shirt. The T-shirts will be available during a screening event by The Side Garage on the Friday afternoon of Drake Relays, April 29. You can screen your own shirt OR we can screen it for you to pick up later.

T-shirts must be pre-ordered, so that we can have correct sizes on hand. Send your name and what size you want to SJMC administrative assistant Denise Ganpat (denise.ganpat@drake.edu) PRIOR TO MARCH 14.
