Media staff needed for track championships at Drake Stadium

Mike Mahon, former Sports Information Director at Drake University, is seeking JMC students to cover the track and field events at the Toyota USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships July 25-28 at Drake Stadium. Mahon says 1,000 of the best athletes will compete, and our students can be involved in covering events and interviewing winners, and work among national and international media. Mahon will be the media chief.

The coverage begins with a press conference scheduled for Wednesday July 24, and concludes on July 28.  Students who can work all or part of that schedule are encouraged to contact Mike for details, by sending him an email to mmbird1@gmail.com
