Drake PRSSA to present at national conference
Drake Public Relations Student Society of America has been chosen as a speaker for the 2018 National PRSSA conference in October in Austin, Texas. Karoline Sandusky, Meghan Kearney and Ellen Converse will present their chapter development session, “Fundraising and Financial Education.” The Drake PRSSA chapter has been selected to present at National Conference in four of the past five years. Fewer than 10 chapters, out of more than 300 internationally, are chosen to present each year.
SJMC alum covers World Cup
SJMC alum Kurtis Larson, JO’08, covered the recent World Cup in Russia for his employer, the Toronto Sun. Kurt played soccer for Drake and is currently a multimedia journalist and senior national online sports editor for Postmedia.
