Dr. Sally Beisser has been selected to serve on the Teaching For High Potential Editorial Advisory Board for a four-year term as one of 15 educators in gifted education. Her induction took place at the National Association for Gifted Children National Conference (NAGC) in Orlando, Florida. At this conference, Dr. Beisser presented on “An Early Childhood Assessment Tool to Identify the Young Gifted Children.” As the 2016-2017 Troyer Research Fellow Recipient, she was accompanied by two Drake students, Madeleine Emrich and Sydney Staudt who are research assistants and presented during this accepted conference break out session. These two students are obtaining their TAG Endorsement to teach pK-12 gifted learners.
