Drake University Law School has planned various events to celebrate 2016 International Law Week Oct. 10-13.
Events include an international food fair, presentations on study abroad opportunities for Drake Law students, a lecture on the global impact of the U.S. Constitution, and more.

Monday, Oct. 10
International Coffee

Free coffee from around the world will be served to start off the week.
Drake Law in Cuba Presentation
11-11:50 a.m., Cartwright Hall, Room 201
Professor Neil Hamilton will discuss how you can travel to Cuba with Drake Law School. Food will be served.
Tuesday, Oct. 11
International Food Fair

Celebrate diversity and culture! Come taste internationally themed foods offered by various Drake Law student groups.
Wednesday, Oct. 12
International Law Opportunities at Drake
10:30-11 a.m. AND 11-11:30 a.m., Cartwright Hall, Room 213
Come learn about Drake Law School’s LLM program with Jennifer Zwagerman, director of career development. Learn how to build an international resume and find international internships and job opportunities. Information will also be presented about Drake’s post-graduate China fellowship and expert teacher programs at the Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, China.
Summer in France Presentation

Professor Ellen Yee will provide introductory information about the Drake Law Summer in France study abroad program. Find out about classes, student life in Nantes, France, participation requirements, and more. Pizza will be served.

The American Constitution in Global Perspective

Professor Miguel Schor will discuss the U.S. Constitution and the impact it has around the world. Pizza will be served.
